Rebecca Servo - REALTOR®
When I was a little girl, I remember sitting in the back seat of the car while my mom drove around looking at potential investment and rental properties. When she showed houses, I would stand next to her and listen. Later she would explain things to me, point out pros and cons, and ask my opinion on how I could improve a home we had visited. I was ten.
For as long as I can remember, real estate has been in my life. My first residential purchase was a HUD foreclosure that needed renovation, which I bought at my mom's insistence. To my surprise, I doubled my money in two years. Then, my dad found a ranch - it was hideous - but after remodeling it, I made $50,000. I used that money to buy a lot in an up and coming neighborhood and built my first house, then a second one. Along the way, I developed a passion for celebrating each home's unique qualities, and a vision for making the improvements that turn a house into a home. After several more years of real estate experiences, I finally decided to [make it official/follow my heart] and obtained my real estate license in 2002.
During my post graduate work as a special ed teacher, I discovered that my greatest joy comes from helping people. I enjoy every step of the process: the challenge of finding the perfect home for my clients; helping them prepare their residences for sale to make them as attractive as possible to a prospective buyer; offering knowledge of the current market and home values; honestly discussing the benefits and downsides of a potential purchase or sale; and negotiating the best deal in a fair and ethical manner. As the process from start to finish can sometimes be stressful, I remain committed throughout, always available, always in communication, always in service. All of these responsibilities are what I love about being a Realtor!
